Tools, techniques and approaches in the stability testing and stabilisation of pharmaceutical systems
Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh
This symposium will review developments in the evaluation of product stability. The speakers will discuss approaches and analytical techniques used in monitoring the stability of active substances and products, how to predict long term stability, the importance of careful selection of container/closure systems, and technologies available for stabilising inherently unstable substances and pharmaceutical products.
There will be podium presentations by younger pharmaceutical scientists who will be competing for consideration for the Geoffrey Phillips Analytical Science Award, with a bursary of up to £1000 to attend a relevant conference of their choice.
