JPAG - PAST MEETINGS

Thursday 20th March 2014
Pharmaceutical equivalence, therapeutic equivalence and the role of analytical science
Royal Society of Chemistry, London
The assumption that pharmaceutical equivalence predicts therapeutic equivalence is becoming increasingly contested. The greater complexity of medicinal products and their global sourcing .challenge this belief. Have you been following this important discussion? Do you know and understand what important developments in the scientific and regulatory frameworks are taking place? Are you aware of the implications for the safe use of medicines?

To answer these questions, JPAG presents a symposium that examines the role of analytical science in characterising and establishing therapeutic equivalence through the perspectives and experiences of experts from industry, academia and regulatory agencies.

If you are a manager or a scientist working in the areas of formulation design, analytical development or regulatory CMC, or have any involvement in post authorisation variations, generic products and global sourcing then this is a must-attend event.

If you are working in this area but have limited experience then the symposium will provide an excellent opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the key scientific and regulatory issues.

Members of TOPRA can register at the members rate for this event
