Isobel Cook (BioPharma Technology Ltd, Winchester, Hampshire) became the fourth recipient of the Joint Pharmaceutical Analysis Group's (JPAG) Conference Analytical Science Award at the British Pharmaceutical Conference (BPC) this year. The Award is a certificate and a bursary of up to £2,000 for the recipient to attend a scientific meeting of their choice. It was awarded on the basis of the scientific quality, originality and potential impact of the work presented at the "Short Papers in Pharmaceutical Analysis" session at the BPC, in a paper entitled "A study of vial headspace moisture in an entire freeze-dried batch and the factors affecting moisture content variability"
