If you are planning on presenting a poster at a JPAG meeting, click on the following button to download some information on what you need to know and do: Unless otherwise advertised, posters should be prepared for presentation for display on a poster board 1800 mm high x 900 mm wide (i.e. portrait format) and preferably in A0 size. Posters must be clear and self-explanatory. Lettering must be readable at 2 metres (suggested minimum height of characters 8 mm, minimum line width 0.7 mm).

Burlington House is on the north side of Piccadilly, midway between Piccadilly Circus and Green Park underground stations. Burlington House surrounds a large courtyard which also houses The Royal Academy; after entering the gates off Piccadilly you will find the Royal Astronomical Society immediately on the left hand side of the courtyard, and the Royal Society of Chemistry at the far right hand side of the courtyard. Please note that disabled persons access is incomplete - please telephone in advance. Underground - The nearest stations are Green Park (step-free access) or Piccadilly Circus. Buses - Numbers 9, 14, 19, 22, 38 all stop near Burlington House Car - Please note that Piccadilly is in the London Congestion Charge Zone where a charge is payable. Air: Ware is 15 miles from Stansted Airport and 50 miles from Heathrow Airport.
Train Ware Station is approximately 1 mile from the Ware site. Trains run from London Liverpool Street to Hertford East via Tottenham Hale (Underground connection). Car From London take the A10 northbound and turn off at the junction marker "Ware (B1001)". Turn right on to the B1001 towards the town centre. Turn right at the roundabout at the bottom of the hill on to Park Road and follow the signs until you reach the main gate on the left. There will be allocated car parking and further signs to direct delegates from car park to reception. ( Do not turn into Buryfield Way which is signposted GSK). For a map, click here
Site instructions On arrival please report to Reception. You will be issued with a visitor/s badge, and advised where best to park your car. Your host will be informed of your arrival and will come to collect you from Reception. Visitors' badges should be worn throughout your visit and handed in before you leave the site. The company operates a no-smoking policy which means that smoking is only permitted outside the site boundary or in designated smoking areas if available. We request that you do not bring cameras or recording equipment on to the site. Please note that the taking of photographs without prior permission is strictly prohibited (this includes the use of camera or mobile phones with photo-capability). Your compliance with this request is appreciated.

Buses - The Stevenage site is not supported by a regular bus service Train - The site is about 25 minutes walk from Stevenage Train Station. Intercity trains stopping at Stevenage run from Kings Cross via Finsbury Park on the line to Peterborough, York, Newcastle and Edinburgh. There is a taxi rank opposite the station. Car - If arriving by car you will require a vehicle pass (which MUST be booked in advance; please enquire). The site is approximately 30 miles from London on the A1(M). Exit at junction 7 and take the A602 Eastbound towards Hertford and Ware. At the first roundabout take the third exit and you will see the entrance to the site. The security Reception is a further 50 yards on the left. Air - Stevenage is 12 miles from Luton Airport, 35 miles from Heathrow Airport and 35 miles from Stansted Airport.

Registration and payment of registration fees You can register on-line at www.jpag.org. Please SIGN IN to the site on your first visit before registering for an event; this will ensure that post-event delegate material is fully available to you personally. Full payment is required at the time of registration. Please pay ON-LINE by credit card (via Paypal). Notification that a registration has been accepted will be confirmed by e-mail to your registered e-mail address. If you have not received notification within five working days please contact JPAG at email@example.com. An invoice confirming your registration can be downloaded from the JPAG website. NO OTHER INVOICE WILL BE SUPPLIED. If payment has not been received prior to the event, then entry to the event will be at the discretion of JPAG. Payments may also be made by bank transfer.
Cancellation policy Meeting registrations once made and accepted by JPAG are liable for payment and are not refundable. However, notified substitutions are permitted at any time prior to the meeting (see below). JPAG reserves the right to cancel a meeting due to circumstances beyond its control. In this case, JPAG will notify attendees by a message to their registered e-mail address at the earliest reasonable opportunity. It is the responsibility of registered delegates to monitor their e-mail and ensure their registered e-mail address is correct. In the event of cancellation, a full refund of payments will be provided. However JPAG will not be liable, to the extent permitted by law, for any consequential loss or damage arising from the meeting cancellation.
Substitutions Substitute attendees from the same organisation are accepted at any time with no administration charge but must be notified in advance. Please notify JPAG in writing via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with details of substitute attendees. Substitute attendees must possess an account or register a new account on the JPAG website in order for their registration to be processed. No refund is payable in relation to any substitution. The full meeting rate will be applied if the substitute attendee is not eligible for a discount and any additional payment is required before a registration can be accepted.
Alterations to the programme JPAG reserves the right to alter the meeting programme, speakers, date or venue in the event of circumstances beyond its control.
Keeping you informed The contact details you provide on SIGN IN may be used to inform you about future JPAG, RPS and RSC events, products and services by post, phone or e-mail. However, you can elect not to receive information at any time by updating your profile on the website.

Under this scheme, JPAG offers FIVE bursaries for each of the JPAG symposia held during the year. During the meeting you will have the opportunity to chat with other like-minded scientists, including speakers, other delegates, and JPAG committee members.
To apply, please send a brief statement on why you wish to attend to Dr Laura Waters (email@example.com), indicating which meeting you feel is most appropriate to your area of work and details of what you would like to present. ELIGIBILITY. Postgraduate student bursaries are open to full-time postgraduate students (MSc and PhD students) registered at a school of pharmacy or chemistry in the United Kingdom.
Winners will receive a complimentary registration to attend a symposium and assistance with travel costs up to a maximum of £100 using the most cost-efficient means of transport. In exceptional circumstances this maximum may be exceeded. However, the applicant must make the request in advance to Dr Laura Waters (firstname.lastname@example.org) and receive specific agreement in writing before making any registrations.
Bursaries are not available to support attendance at joint events that are not organised by JPAG.
